Know your place in the Realm. Acquire maps, documents, guides, journals, and recordings as often as possible. Get into the habit of tracking down the mappers and scribes in the outposts and townships you visit. Each unique creator may hide significant details within their craft.
Keep your own notes and maps. There are those mappers and scribes who would part with some of their own pay for good information about those sites you have recently explored.
